Background: Marchelle Baldwin began her Law Enforcement career in 2004 at the Monmouth County Correctional Institution in January 2006 she was hired as a Police Officer with the Asbury Park Police Department. She has served in the Patrol Division and the Detective Bureau. In August 2015, she joined the Community Relations Division and was assigned as the School Resource Officer of the Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Middle School.
Officer Baldwin has her Master’s Degree in Administrative Sciences from Fairleigh Dickinson University. Some of her training with the Asbury Park Police Department includes MOI (Methods of Instruction) Basic Course for School Resource Officers, GREAT (Gang Resistance Education and Training), and LEAD (Law Enforcement Against Drugs) just to name a few.
Officer Baldwin was instrumental in the Police Cadet Program and the Youth Summer Camp. She was also instrumental and establishing with the other members of her division in the PAL-Asbury Park (Police Athletic League Asbury Park Chapter)
Officer Baldwin is a fair and positive role model for the students of the Asbury Park School District and to the community she serves.
