[ARCHIVED] Asbury Park Television Receives Jersey Access Group Excellence Awards

6/22/23, Asbury Park, NJ – Asbury Park Television (APTV) has been honored with nine awards from the Jersey Access Group’s JAG Video Awards. “Asbury Park Juneteenth Day Highlights” by Muata Greene, “Bans off Our Bodies Rally Highlights” by Muata Greene and John Kaplow, and “The Jersey Storm: Sandy in Monmouth County” by Adam Worth, all received “Certificate of Excellence” awards in their category. “The Jersey Storm: Sandy in Monmouth County” also received an unprecedented perfect score from the judges. In addition, “Asbury Park 150th anniversary Time Capsule,” “AP Senior Center” and “Be Kind PSA” by Nicole Amatucci, “Universal African Festival Highlights” by Muata Greene, “AP Food Pantries“ by Nate McCallister, and “Sir, I Exist! A Life of Stephen Crane” by Tom Chesek, Frank D'Alessandro and Nate McCallister all received awards in their category. 

The Jersey Access Group (JAG) is a professional organization that unites municipalities, access channels, non-profit organizations, and content providers in a mission to improve communications to their communities. JAG advises, advocates, and educates in the areas of technology, legislation, and regulation impacting multiple media platforms. Their annual JAG Video Awards are dedicated to honoring excellence in local and regional Public Education Government (PEG) cablecast programming.
