[ARCHIVED] Attention Asbury Park Seniors – Get Help Claiming Your Property

Unclaimed Property

You may be entitled to money that is being safeguarded by the State of New Jersey.

The State of New Jersey’s Unclaimed Property Administration (UPA) recovers and records abandoned or lost property with the goal of returning it to the rightful owner and/or heirs. The New Jersey Unclaimed Property Statute ensures that property owners never relinquish the right to this property and the UPA only acts as a custodian until the property is returned.

To see if you have unclaimed property in your name, and file a claim use the NJ Property Search website, visit

Asbury Park Seniors (age 60+) who need access to a computer, or help submitting a claim, can visit the Asbury Park Senior Center (1201 Springwood Avenue, 2nd Floor, Suite 102) Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm for help. Call 732-988-5252 with questions.
