Asbury Park Television Receives Jersey Access Group Excellence Awards
6/3/22, Asbury Park, NJ – Asbury Park Television (APTV) has been honored with five awards from the Jersey Access Group’s JAG Video Awards. "Meteorological Spring" by Muata Greene and "A Conversation with Mayor John Moor" by Mike Sodano both received "Certificate of Excellence" awards in their category. In addition, "Preserving Wesley Lake" by Ed Salvas, "Women's HerStory" by Charles Trott and "A Segregated Seashore Retrospective" by Kay Harris and Michelle Gladden all received “Certificate of Recognition" awards in their category.
The Jersey Access Group (JAG) is a professional organization that unites municipalities, access channels, non-profit organizations, and content providers in a mission to improve communications to their communities. JAG advises, advocates, and educates in the areas of technology, legislation, and regulation impacting multiple media platforms. Their annual JAG Video Awards are dedicated to honoring excellence in local and regional Public Education Government (PEG) cablecast programming. “It’s no secret that our team at APTV is highly creative and dedicated to their craft,” said Deputy Mayor Amy Quinn, “We congratulate all of the winners and are thrilled to see their incredible work highlighting Asbury Park recognized by JAG.”
