Attention Asbury Park Businesses - Participate in the Monmouth County Safe Place Program

Safe-Place

Attention Asbury Park Businesses,

Asbury Park Police Department invites you to participate in the Monmouth County Safe Place program – an active collaboration between local police departments, businesses, social organizations and schools designed to assist in making communities a safer place to live.

Businesses participating in the program designed to assist all victims of hate crimes or bias incidents will display a decal designating their establishment as a “safe place.” Any individual who sees the Safe Place logo will know that the establishment displaying the decal will provide a safe space for someone to call 911 for assistance should they feel unsafe.

For more information on the program, visit www.mcponj.org/safe-place-initiative. To participate, email SafePlace@mcponj.org or call APPD’s Lt. Lorenzo Pettway at (732) 502-5767.
