NOTICE OF PUBLIC COMMENT PERIOD

Substantial Amendment to the FY-2019 Annual Action Plan for HUD Programs administered by the City of Asbury Park’s Department of Community Development (CDBG)

The City of Asbury Park is proposing to amend its FY-2019 Annual Action Plan. The City of Asbury Park expects to submit the Substantial Amendments to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development on or before January 31, 2022.

The FY-2019 Substantial Amendments will transfer an available CDBG/CV project balance and allocate  funding to an existing project. The details of the existing project and associated funding amount is provided in the amendments.

The City of Asbury Park’s Citizen Participation Plan (CPP) requires a 5-day public comment period on Substantial Amendments for any CDBG/CV funding.  The comment period will start on December 8th 2021 and continue through and include December 13th 2021.

The Substantial Amendments to the FY-2019 Annual Action Plan will be available in the Department of Community Development (CDBG) during regular business hours, 9:00 a.m.- 5:00 p.m. and at WWW.CITYOFASBURYPARK.COM during the comment period.  Comments can be submitted by email to: Cassandra.dickerson@cityofasburypark.com or fax: 732-775-1483, by December 13th 2021.
