Notice of Intent to Award Contract under a National Cooperative Purchasing Agreement – Parking Products and Services 

The City of Asbury Park intends to participate in the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance contract for Parking Products and Services (Contract Number 05-28) to contract with Passport to launch a new parking permitting portal, and License Plate Reader Enforcement systems in The City of Asbury Park. 

Whereas the City of Asbury Park is currently contracted with Passport for other services, the services being awarded will be in the form of an amendment to the existing agreement authorized by Resolution 2021-94.

The City of Asbury Park is already a member of the National Cooperative Purchasing Alliance and anticipates using contract: 05-28 Parking Products and Services, contract term is a four-year term from April 2, 2018 to April 30, 2023. 

Contract Period: November 1, 2021 to February 1, 2024 

It is the intent of the City of Asbury Park to make a contract award to Passport pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the Transportation Manager, James Bonanno. The City of Asbury Park is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3). 

Comment period ends October 5, 2021.
