About the ESTC

The ESTC assists residents with planting, trimming and removal of public trees.

Volunteer Greenings

The ESTC also sponsors Greenings from March through November every Wednesday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. Some of these projects include cleanups, garden planting, pruning, small tree trimming, pruning and weeding.

All volunteers are asked to meet at the Rain Garden at the Main Street/Springwood Avenue intersection.

Youth looking to accrue Community Service Hours are welcome, and letters of support will be provided for their school records.

Join the volunteer list by emailing iksnivip@aol.com. Volunteers will receive notifications about Greenings twice a week with location and details.

Rainbow Bridge Pet Memorial Garden

The Asbury Park Environmental Shade Tree Commission (ESTC) has created a heart-shaped garden planted with perennial flowers on the southwest plot of Kennedy Park on Lake Avenue to honor Asbury Park's lost pets. The shape is in honor of the love that we who have had pets knew while they were with us. Pet Garden 2019
